Riding in the OKC metro means interstates that meet in the middle of town, a long riding season, and springs that punish anything parked outside. Harvey Insurance writes for all three.

Harvey Insurance is a trusted local agency serving families and businesses across Texas, Oklahoma & Arkansas — backed by America’s most reputable carriers.
Oklahoma City is a wide, fast, car-shaped metro, and a motorcycle moves through it accordingly. The interstates converge downtown, the arterials run six lanes with turn traffic across them, and the single most common serious crash in a place like this is still a driver turning left across a bike they looked at and did not see. That reality drives the coverage conversation toward two places most riders underweight. The first is uninsured and underinsured motorist — the at-fault driver’s limits set the ceiling on what a rider recovers, and in Oklahoma the odds that those limits are low or absent are not comfortable. The second is medical payments, because a motorcycle injury bill arrives long before any question of fault gets settled. Then there is the weather, which is a separate problem entirely: spring hail in this metro lands on bikes sitting in driveways and open carports, and a hailed tank and fairing on a touring bike is a serious repair. Comprehensive is what answers there, and it costs very little compared with what it covers. Ride season runs long here, roughly February through November in a decent year, which means more exposure than a northern rider carries and more reason to get the limits right.
