Greers Ferry is ringed with Corps campgrounds, and Heber Springs fills with rigs from Little Rock and Memphis every warm weekend. Harvey Insurance covers the RV, the contents, and the site.

Harvey Insurance is a trusted local agency serving families and businesses across Texas, Oklahoma & Arkansas — backed by America’s most reputable carriers.
The camping around Greers Ferry is mostly Corps of Engineers shoreline parks, and they are good ones — wooded, close to the water, and busy from spring through October. What that setting does to the risk profile is predictable once you look at it. Sites sit under hardwood that drops limbs when a storm comes through the foothills, and central Arkansas gets plenty of storms. The lake-edge pads mean wind comes across open water with nothing in the way. The roads down to the shoreline parks are narrow and steep in places, which is where roof vents and awnings meet branches. And once you are set up for a week, the rig is a residence: guests on the site, belongings inside, and liability that an auto policy does not address in any form. Physical damage, contents, campsite liability, and roadside sized to the rig are the four pieces that matter.
